Tag Tuesday

I love tags, I use them on scrapbook pages, cards, gifts, storage baskets, anything I can think of. So, for a while, every Tuesday I'll share a tag or two or three.

These tags were made to embellish pages in a baby book I am putting together for a friend. I used my Cricut Doodlecharms and Bags, Tags and Boxes cartridges and paper pieced each one. Then they are shaded with chalks and popped up with dimensional dots.

Happy Stamping and I'll talk to you soon.

Mojo Monday #93 and Color me Monday

Well, I had some time today so I decided to try another Mojo Monday sketch challenge and just to see if I could, I combined it with the Color me Monday challenge. Here is the result. A tribute to the 4th of July!

Have a great week!

Color me Monday

Looking for inspiration or a jump-start to a creating session? Try a color challenge. This card was created from the Color me Monday color challenge on Jeanette Lynton’s Blog. These are not colors I would normally use together but it was fun to try to come up with something I liked.

Colors, papers and stamps are from Close to My Heart: Cocoa, Juniper, Brown Bag and Crème Brulee. The stamp sets are Treetop C1368 and Dainty Thoughts C1350. If you are interested in these papers or stamps you can shop online at my CTMH website. http://dalmanza.myctmh.com

Happy Last Day of School!

To celebrate the last day of school I made these cute little ice cream soda gifts. I filled each soda glass with bright colored candies and hid a bottle of fruit scented bubbles in the middle. Topped it off with pixie stix straws and curly ribbon. The tags were made with my Cricut using the “Tags, bags, boxes and more” cartridge and the “Doodle charm” cartridge.

I made one for all the office staff and for each of my library volunteers.

They were fun, inexpensive and easy to put together.

Talk to you again soon.

Rehearsal Dinner

I had a friend ask if I would put together "survival kits" for all the attendants and the bride and groom for her son's rehearsal dinner. I also decorated the room/tables with flower arrangements, table runners and place cards. The theme was "The Rehearsal Dinner" kind of like Oscar night. They gave out awards for best supporting characters (maid of honor and the best man). It was a fun theme to work with.

Blog Adventures

Hi Everyone,

I have been reading and looking at blogs for a while now and I finally thought, why not? I am always trying to explain how this or that project turned out and I know my friends and family have a hard time visualizing what I am describing. So, this blog is for you, now you can actually see what I'm talking about! The plan is to post pictures of projects as I complete them and to challenge each of you to visit often and post a comment or two. Maybe we'll communicate more often:) I'd love to hear from all of you.

Hugs and Kisses!
