Trio of Sympathy Cards

September was a rough month for our staff. We had three people suffer the loss of a loved one. We sent each a plant and our sympathy. It's not easy to recover from losing someone you love but sometimes it helps to know your friends are thinking of you and praying for you.

Retro Birthday

Than never, right! I looked at the Mojo Monday sketch on Monday and thought it looked a little too complicated but, I had a little time today so I thought I'd give it a try. Here is the sketch, you can click on the sketch to visit the mojo site.

I really had a bit of a hard time with this one.  It took a while to come together but here it is...

                                 

The day started out cloudy and overcast for the first Sunday of the balloon fiesta but the sun finally came out this afternoon.  I tried taking some pictures on the front porch.  It was a little windy but I snapped this one before the wind blew it over.

Crumpled flower card

I was trying to push my boundries a little this summer and I had seen several different versions of crumpled paper flowers on the web and I thought I would give it a try.  This card is one of the results.  I really liked making these flowers and did several of them this summer.  I did not post one earlier so I thought I would share it with you now.

Just another birthday... card

Happy Thursday.  I hope each of you are able to find something to be joyful about today.  I'm happy tomorrow is Friday and then we get to enjoy the weekend.  I'm so far behind on birthday cards but, I was able to finish this one to add to my box.  More buttons and cute birthday stamps from Close to My Heart helpled this card go together quickly.
