Card Club technique and card

At the February Card Club evening I'm teaching a few different techniques to my club.  This first card is created from a masterboard.  If you haven't done a masterboard before, this is what you do:  Take a piece of cardstock and stamp all over it with different (but sort of related themes) smear color, do a little embossing and you wind up with a piece something like this.
Now you have a sheet of your own background paper to cut up and use however you want.  I like this technique because sometimes you can't find just the right color combination or pattern that you want.  This way you can personalize.  Use every bit of the scraps to create a whole coordinating set of cards or scrapbook layout.  We're making valentine themed cards from ours.
More cards for club later.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.  Talk to you again soon.
