Natural disaster?
No, it's just my worktable after a creative session. I know it's time to put a few things away when everything starts sliding into the middle of the desk and I can't push it to the side or stack one more thing on top! I don't completely clean it up because some how all of this sort of inspires me. Creative chaos with just a touch of organization, not enough to mess me up with "clean". Looking a these pictures makes me want to stamp so I'll talk to you again soon.

Play Date Cafe Challenge
Hi All! I had such a fun experience this week with some very nice visitors to my blog. They left sweet comments and Julie invited me to join in the challenge at The Play Date Cafe. It included this color challenge...
For some reason this combination was really hard for me, it pushed/shoved me right out of my box! Here is my card...
It was even hard to photograph! It's an easel card so here is a picture of it open...
and a couple of detail shots....
There you have it. No matter what light I photographed it in it just did not look right. Oh well, the person who received it really liked it so that's what matters. *smile* I certainly hope you had an awesome start to your week. Thanks for stopping by and I'll talk to you again soon.

More babies
Seven babies! That is how many new babies we've added on our staff this school year. These cards are for the last two before school is out. There will be one more during the summer. Whew... lots of baby gifts and cards. How fun are these?
These images are from the Love you forever set (C1398). Colored with colored pencils then layer and popped up with 3-D foam tape.
The sentiments are from a variety of other sets and I used several background stamps to add texture, the clouds are sponged on with a little Dutch blue and scalloped circle mask. Ribbons, lace and bling are from my stash, see I'm not a hoarder... I know how to share *smile*. Have a great week and I'll talk to you again soon.

Just add prayer
A friend lost her dad this past week so I was able to put together a card to send off to let her know I was thinking and praying for her family. No words can offer as much comfort than to know someone is talking to our Lord on your behalf. His is the only peace and comfort that can console a grieving heart.
Whatever you do today, be sure to add prayer.
All images, inks and papers are from Close to my Heart. I also entered this in a challenge at The Shabby Tea Room, hop on over there to see some of the great work. Have a great weekend and I'll talk to you again soon.

More spring flowers
More spring flowers from the same stamp set (C1395 enjoy every moment) from Close to my Heart. I call these Asters, not sure if that's their real name. I just love all the detail and the fact that I could color and add shading. These are colored with colored pencil then masked and over stamped with the lined background and the flower centers have clear glass beads adhered with liquid glass. I love the sparkle and texture they add. I've been sitting here sort of petting them, they are so cool to touch. Anyway, these are ready for a card.
I feel just a tiny bit organized now that I have a few images ready when I need to put together a card. That is if I could just stop touching them *smile*. Have a great day and I'll talk to you again soon.

Lovely fabric flowers
I was cruising around in blog land the other day and came to this site. I love making flowers and I have lots of fabric/felt/paper scraps and this technique seemed to be a perfect way to use some of those things that I have been holding on to because we all know..."I might use it some day". Making these flowers is so easy and fun. My next batch I think I might try mixing and matching fabric patterns, hummm. Anyway, I made this card for a challenge at a new blog that I also found while cruising. The name alone makes me smile and think of fun tea parties with my mom and sister and nieces, check it out at The Shabby Tea Room.
Here is a side view.
The flower was die cut with my big kick and a sizzix die, the leaves are a punched heart that I cut in half and stitched, then I added a little more stitching to the front of the card. All the paper, stamps, and inks are Close to my Heart, Fun stuff! Thanks for stopping by, leave me a comment to let me know you were here. I'll talk to you again soon.

Spring Flowers
Calla Lillies, I wasn't sure what colors they actually were, I'd seen the creme and buttercup tinted ones but that was it. I googled them and wow, they come in every color imaginable. Then when I was at the store today, they had several different varieties in buckets in the front of the produce section. They were so pretty I wished I'd had my camera with me. I guess you'll have to settle for my version of the color combinations. These are colored with colored pencil, masked and overstamped with a background stamp then edged with distressing ink in chocolate. I used liquid glass to hold on the tiny copper colored glass beads. These are all ready to be added to cards. Are you having a good week so far? I hope so, thanks for stopping by. I'll talk to you again soon.

Morning glories continued
I have spent the last week having the best time just coloring and playing with my stamps. I've worked on several different images getting them ready for when I need a little something to add to a card, and to celebrate spring, most have been flower themed. These are all ready to add to a card when I need them. All the stamps, ink and paper are from Close to my Heart. Be sure to visit my CTMH website if you are interested in purchasing these amazing stamps for youself. I'm a little sad that spring break is over but we had a great stay-cation visiting with our families and friends while we were off from school. Have a wonderful week and thanks for stopping by. Leave me a comment, I love to hear from you. Talk to you again soon.

Morning, Glory
I saw these flowers stamps in the catalog and got such an urge to color! I love the way this card turned out and these new Close to My Heart stamps are so fun! I colored the flower image from the Enjoy every moment set (C1395) with colored pencils then masked it and stamped over the top with one of the Noted backgrounds stamps(D1412) edged it with chocolate and then sponged the edges with sweet leaf. A little liquid glass in the flower centers to hold my gold beads and wah-la. I love the way it turned out. I am also loving the little micro dot background stamp from the Spot on set (D1280) it just hit the right vintage note on my sweet leaf scallops.
Have a great weekend, get some rest and have a little fun along the way. I'll talk to you again soon.

The Alphabet set is CTMH D1221 Delightful Alphabet, I love all the different fonts in one alphabet. More artwork coming soon. I've got to go run some errands, happy Saturday, (spring break is only a week away!!!woo hoo). Talk to you again later!

Still Here!
Hi everyone,
No artwork to share today though I have been creating. I just have not had a minute to edit and upload any pics between evening classes and physical therapy, you know how it goes. Hopefully this weekend I can share some of the things I've been working on. I just wanted to pop in and say Hey, so.. Hey! Hope everything is good in your part of the world.
I'll talk to you again soon (hopefully:-)
